Oldham Athletic would like to thank supporters who are purchasing and renewing their season tickets, especially over the last few months and this week despite the uncertainty that still surrounds the game due to Covid-19.
Leading up to today’s seat reservation deadline naturally it has seen increased footfall to the Ticket Office at Boundary Park as well over the phone and online.
This has resulted in queuing and for the large majority we are thankful and appreciate the patience shown.
However, on some occasions, especially today, a small number of supporters have been extremely abusive to staff that has overstepped the mark and this is totally unacceptable.
The club would like to ask fans for their understanding and respectful co-operation in what is still a challenging time for all in unprecedented circumstances.
Staff will continue to work hard to deal with as many queries as possible in such a short timeframe and would like to thank the large majority for their support on this already.
Finally, due to games still being classed as behind-closed-doors, new season cards will now not be available for collection until October at the earliest due to the deadline being put back. An official communication will be released in due course when these can be collected.
