Spindles Town Square and Oldham Athletic are joining forces to offer shoppers a weekend of family fun and a chance to receive one of 200 pairs of match tickets.
Latics Fun Day takes place on Saturday 3 September from 11am-3pm outside Next on the lower mall of the shopping centre.
The event will bring together an amazing programme of craft workshops, face painters and character appearances from Spindles Bear and Chaddy the Owl.
Alongside this, 200 lucky shoppers will receive a free pair of tickets to the upcoming match against Eastleigh at Boundary Park on Saturday 17 September.
To be in with a chance of winning, simply attend the event between 11am and 2pm.
Speaking at the launch for the event, Cllr Amanda Chadderton, the leader of Oldham Council, said: “It’s great to see two of the borough’s most popular institutions come together to create an event for residents.
“I hope everyone who attends has a great time and they continue to support the club over the coming season”.
Latics Chief Executive, Darren Royle, hinted that there was more to come from the partnership with Spindles Shopping Centre.
Darren said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Oldham Council & Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre to support our first Latics Fun Day.
“We have a long-standing tradition of being a family club and we look forward to welcoming families attending this event to Boundary Park.”
