We’re pleased to welcome young Latics fan ‘Tommy the Warrior’ to Boundary Park this afternoon.
Tommy is the son of football coach Daniel Squibbs of Dan’s Dribblers. Last year, Dan and his wife Charlie have been given the heartbreaking news Tommy has Leukaemia.
So many people in the area will be familiar with Dan’s Dribblers and the great work that Dan does.
He is a popular coach, role model and mentor for every one of his dribblers. As a football community we have all been devastated to hear what coach Dan and his family are going through.
Due to Tommy’s heartbreaking diagnosis, Dan has been unable to put on his training sessions adding financial and further emotional stress to himself and his family.
As a community, we want to do all we can to help Dan and his family so they can focus all their attention on Tommy.
We have had some amazing offers from coaches to help cover the sessions which is great - we are still looking for Saturday cover so if anyone can offer any help, please get in touch.
