OACT to launch military veterans team
Working in partnership, Lancashire FA & Manchester FA are looking to establish a newly formed league aimed specifically at military veterans. As such, Oldham Athletic Community Trust are seeking military veterans to represent Oldham Athletic in the newly formed North West Military Veterans League.Martin Vose, OACT Head of Community, commented: “We are really excited to be part of the Military Veterans League and really want to capitalize on the opportunity this has given us to extend our engagement within the armed forces community.Whilst final details of the leagues logistics are yet to be confirmed by the county FA`s, the initial commitment would be a monthly fixture which would be held at a central venue (TBC) played in a small-sided format.”
